What a weekend it was...
Saturday started with a beautiful Welcome to Country by Jodi Edwards,
then SUP Yoga & our inflatable race.
Sat/Sun saw some amazing SUP surfing at Warilla Beach.
Sat night we partied & presented prizes galore, then Sunday we handed out more prizes & cash for the winners of the SUP surf divisions.

24/7 Surf Rescue & CPR course
Surfers Rescue 24/7 is a FREE surfboard rescue & CPR course which teaches crucial board rescue techniques that can be used to assist in an emergency situation & could ultimately save a life! These simple yet proven rescue techniques have been designed & endorsed by NSW Professional Lifeguards, The Australian Lifeguards Service , Surf Life Saving NSW, & some of the world’s most elite surfers.
We know surfers are in the water 365 days a year from dawn until dusk & are most often the first to assist in emergencies. Only 4% of all beaches are patrolled by professional & volunteer lifeguards, so the techniques taught have been proven to save lives!
We are encouraging recreational paddle boarders & surfers of all skill levels to do the Surfers Rescue 24/7 course to learn these techniques, as well as be trained in CPR. Less than 10% of all Australian's are trained in CPR!
The Surfers Rescue 24/7 course consist of 2 x components:

Surfboard Rescue Course - approx. 1.5 hours, basic rescue techniques using SUPs & surfboards.

This will be at Reddall Reserve, Lake Illawarra.

CPR Course - approx. 2 hours.

This will be at Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club.

Please bring a SUP or surfboard, a wetsuit (or similar), & dry clothes to change into.
